Member Recruitment

Jones County College and Career Academy has a page on Facebook which seeks to reach out to gain members for TSA.  This is managed by JCCCA teachers.  

We use Instagram so our student contacts can get updates on TSA information. Our current follower count is 198! Follow us @greyhounds__tsa

Members of TSA invite peers and friends to  join TSA by actively interacting and informing them on what TSA has to offer at JCHS.  

We had some of our older members present to the students of Foundations of Engineering and Technology to encourage them to join our organization.

JCHS TSA attended curriculum night where members had the opportunity to display and present the projects they had finished for Tech Day.   This allowed us to showcase our projects to parents and students so they will have a better understanding of what TSA and Engineering is as a whole. 

We show  our presence in our campus via school-wide announcements and slides on our hallways and cafeteria screens.   Showcasing our team's achievements allow students in our school to see the benefits of joining TSA.

The local community as well as the school system are provided information about the organization through news coverage and the school system's monthly Greyhound Gazette.   Our reporter and our advisor submit articles about TSA activities to the Greyhound Gazette (see links), which is a Jones County School System newsletter.
